Hardware is only half the build. The software layer decides whether a fast PC feels calm and predictable or noisy, cluttered, and strangely slower than it should be.
Treat utility software like tools on a bench, not decorations. Install the few you need for a specific job, learn their defaults, and remove the ones that keep running after their work is done.
